Family Therapy

SLO Recovery Center recognizes that the chances of treatment success increase dramatically when the family becomes educated about the changes that occur as a person's recovery unfolds. People who suffer from addiction often find themselves isolated from their families or in an ongoing conflict with those they love. The family may experience feelings of confusion, abandonment, fear, anger, embarrassment, or guilt around their loved ones who suffer. SLO Recovery Center provides a safe place for families to heal, utilizing education and a comfortable environment to address conflicts and concerns so the family can recover together.

INDIVIDUAL CLINICAL CARE

Our services offer support to our patients on their way to recovery with a flexible schedule. With both day and evening programming, our step down levels of care can be individualized to meet each patient’s needs. At SLO, we understand that a balanced life is important to long-term recovery, and we strive to prepare our patients to succeed after their time with us.

LEVELS OF CARE

SLO Recovery Center treats the whole person from the point of crisis to the beginning of a productive, useful way of living. Each level of care at SLO Recovery Center starts with an assessment of each patient and their circumstances. That assessment allows placement into Detoxification, Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) or Outpatient services. SLO Recovery Center believes the true success of each patient is based upon the skills taught throughout the entire treatment process. The levels of care offered at SLO Recovery Center start with evidenced-based intensive therapies of PHP and end with the ongoing support of our Aftercare program. Treating the whole person is our primary goal.
